Black Sea Bass is wild caught and sustainably managed in the Atlantic, from Cape Cod to Florida, and from New York to North Carolina. The flavor profile is mild and delicate with a subtle sweetness, similar to grouper or cod. The Black Sea Bass is moist, buttery, and tender when cooked. Commonly baked or grilled whole, however greatly enjoyed in chowders and soups.
Sam Rust partners with a number of local organizations as a way to give back to the community that supports us. We recognize the importance of supporting causes right here in Virginia, and take great care to source as much of our seafood from local boats and fishermen as possible.
