Bandit Rockfish, also known as the Red-banded Rockfish, is a Pacific fish found in the northern tip of Japan to California; generally found roaming the rocky sea beds along the southern coast and the islands of Alaska. Bandit Rockfish are extremely rare due to its deep water habitat, and is quite the catch if seen on the market. This moderately flavored and tender fish is commonly enjoyed in stews, ceviche, grilled and, or served whole.
